Paul B. Domorski, President and Chief Executive Officer of PAR Technology Corp
Paul B. Domorski was named President and Chief Executive Officer of PAR Technology Corp. in April 2011. He also joined the Company’s Board of Directors as Chairman.
Mr. Domorski brings significant leadership and experience to PAR. Most recently, he was president, chief executive officer and a director of EMS Technologies, a publicly traded company, which was recently acquired by Honeywell. EMS was named one of Forbes 200 “best small companies” during his tenure.
Prior to joining EMS, he was vice president of Avaya Corporation’s $1.6 billion services operations business responsible for service and support operations worldwide. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer during the restructuring of RSL Communications Ltd., an international provider of communications services. Mr. Domorski spent nearly 10 years internationally including as president of Syncordia, British Telecom’s international outsourcing and network integration business, and head of Unisys EMEA services business. He began his career at Unisys Corporation and its predecessor companies, Burroughs and Memorex, holding progressively more responsible executive and financial roles there.
Mr. Domorski holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania as well as Master’s and Bachelor degrees from The American University, where he was one of their youngest graduates ever. He is an alumnus of the Wharton Business School, having attended their advanced management program. He served on the executive committee and as a board member of TechAmerica, which was formerly called The American Electronic Association and has written an article for the Harvard Business Review.
Dr. Tom Cooney, Chief Quality Officer
Tom Cooney is Chief Quality Officer for ParTech, Inc. Tom oversees PAR’s ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management system and is the focal point for PAR’s continuous improvement efforts. In addition, Cooney facilitates process development, deployment process planning, failure analysis and reliability data analysis. Cooney has extensive experience in supply chain engineering, product management, fundamental materials characterization, statistical process control, problem solving methodologies, and has direct experience utilizing project management skills across international boundaries.
Prior to joining ParTech, Cooney served as Director of Quality & Engineering for Dielectric Laboratories (DLI) where he also founded the Build to Print Thin Film business unit, subsequently serving as Business Unit Manager. Previous to DLI, Tom held several roles at Intel including Quality & Reliability Program Manager and Purchasing Manager.
Cooney is a native of Chicago, IL and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology where he received a Presidential Leadership Scholarship. He also holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota earning an IMAPS distinguished young engineer award and a Department of Energy excellence in graduate research award. In 2007, Cooney earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
Scott Langdoc, Chief Technology Officer
Scott Langdoc is Chief Technology Officer at ParTech, Inc. Langdoc is responsible for providing the technology vision for PAR, leading the software development and governance groups and works closely with the PAR marketing, global product organization and strategic alliances groups on solution strategies.
Langdoc brings a broad and deep industry perspective to PAR with more than 20 years of information technology experience, including roles as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) at a large retailer (Raley’s), CTO at a major retail IT vendor (Fujitsu), and as global leader of two different retail analyst firms (AMR Research, now a part of Gartner, and IDC). Prior to joining PAR, Langdoc was founder and chief strategist at RetailCENTRIC, a unique strategic consultancy and advisory firm for retailers and industry IT vendors worldwide. Previously, Langdoc held the position of CTO for Fujitsu Transaction Solutions where he had P&L responsibility for Fujitsu’s retail software operations including product development for enterprise point-of-sale (POS).
Langdoc holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from California State University-Sacramento.
William J. Williams, Vice President Global Operations and Hardware Engineering
William J. Williams is Vice President Global Operations and Hardware Engineering for ParTech, Inc. Williams oversees the company’s global supplier management, manufacturing, distribution, and materials management functions. He also leads the company’s hardware engineering, sustaining engineering and service repair organizations. Williams has extensive experience in corporate operations, product cost development and management, revenue attainment, strategic supplier management, international outsourcing and product development.
In his 25 year career at ParTech, Williams has held various positions in several areas with a primary focus on operations management. Williams is a native of Rome, New York and holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Clarkson University.
Peter Wolf, Chief Marketing Officer
Peter Wolf is Chief Marketing Officer for ParTech, Inc.. Wolf oversees the company’s strategic direction, marketing communications product marketing, public relations, partner alliances, company’s branding, advertising, research, events, and analyst relations. In addition, Wolf also leads the global product organization (GPO). The GPO provides direction on solution strategy and planning, innovation, development and the roadmap for PAR’s solution portfolios.
Wolf has extensive experience in marketing, sales and business development for retail technology companies engaged in the creation, deployment and support of complex solutions comprised of store and enterprise software, hardware and services.
Prior to PAR, Wolf served as Vice President of Marketing for Fujitsu America, Inc., where he led their retail and self-service technology business, and Vice President of Product Management of MobileLime, a start-up software company specializing in mobile phone payment and mobile marketing solutions for the retail and hospitality markets.
Wolf is a native of the Bronx, New York and holds a B.S. in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from Manhattan College, where he was awarded the Dean James L. Fitzgerald Medal for Managerial Sciences; and an MBA in General Management from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Rick Franklin, Vice President Global Client Services
Rick Franklin is Vice President Global Client Services at ParTech, Inc. Franklin is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership and client services performance standards for performance levels of PAR’s global client services team. The global client services group includes integration services, implementation services, professional services, hardware maintenance services and customer support/help desk.
Prior to joining PAR, Franklin was Vice President, Global Services at Hand Held Products/Honeywell Scanning and Mobility, where he was responsible for the global development and implementation of services marketing and sales, pre-sales, project management, post-sales, custom software development teams, and service and repair (advanced exchange/break fix) operations. Franklin’s leadership in this role helped Hand Held Products increase its global services revenues by 325 percent in five years. Franklin held management positions in pre-sales and Americas services at Hand Held Products prior to being promoted to Vice President, Global Services.
Previously, Franklin was Vice President Field Services and Operations at Cayman Systems, a technology value added reseller. He was also General Manager/Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Sandlake Farms/USA Floral Company. He also served eight years in the United States Navy as a Naval Aircrewman and Electronic Warfare Intelligence Analyst. In that role, he provided direct fleet combat support during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal, and was selected to be an Instructor and Curriculum Development Manager of Electronic Warfare Intelligence at Fleet Aviation Specialized Operations Training Group.
Tim Votaw, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Tim Votaw is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ParTech responsible for leading the global sales organization, including direct and indirect sales with an emphasis on providing industry-leading products, services and support for ParTech’s major account customers including McDonalds, YUM Brands, Inc., Burger King, Subway and CKE. He is also responsible for executing a variety of new global business initiatives in the rapidly growing retail, restaurant and hospitality industries. Votaw has over 25 years of sales, marketing and business development experience.
Most recently, Votaw was Senior Vice President of sales for the Americas at Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (previously Hand Held Products, Inc.), where he oversaw the company’s sales organization and launched its professional services and business development functions. Honeywell Scanning & Mobility provides technology solutions the large Retail, Transportation and Healthcare enterprises. Votaw also led Americas’ sales at Iomega Corporation during the company’s significant growth period in the 1990s. He also held sales management positions at Coreintellect, Inc. and Apple Computer. Votaw holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Missouri State University.
