Operations
ParTech, Inc. is headquartered in New Hartford, New York and internationally, is divided into four regions—Europe-Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East—with each of the international regions led by a General Manager responsible for both sales and support.
The PAR Dubai Satellite office was established in 1993 to exclusively support and service McDonald’s operations in the Gulf States, but due to the continuous increase in the number of Non-McDonald’s customers in this region, PAR established a regional office in Amman in 1997 to efficiently provide hardware, software, and services to our customers in the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan Region.
Amman and Dubai offices are staffed by several highly trained computer engineers who are ready and qualified to service all our customers’ needs. Our Regional Director has previously owned and operated multiple restaurants with the largest burger restaurant chain in the world. He understands the need for controlling every single penny at the restaurant level, knows how the restaurant manager thinks, what the top management looks for, and what the owner/operator wishes to accomplish. History
PAR’s origins date back to 1968 when PAR Technology Corporation was founded as a high tech, government contracting firm. PAR’s founder, John W. Sammon, was determined to transfer the pattern analysis and recognition technology he and his colleagues developed to the commercial sector, and successfully embarked upon a mission to use his technology to develop the industry’s first stand alone POS terminal for McDonald’s Corporation in 1978.
